Dr. Glenn Brottman received his undergraduate degree at Union College and then his medical degree at Chicago Medical School. His clinical training began at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and after graduation he entered a General Surgery internship at Cornell's New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. Following intership he started residency training in Psychiatry at St Luke's - Roosevelt Hospital an affiliate of Columbia University.
Currently in private practice as a clinical psychiatrist, he also remains active teaching psychopharmacology to residents and Columbia medical students. In addition, he supervises residents individually and in two New York City Psychiatric Emergency rooms. Most recently, he was a faculty presenter at the American Psychiatric Association in Toronto, lecturing on new substances of abuse, cutting edge methods of using, latest trends in rehabilitation, and insight into cultural shifts in society and the medical community. Dr. Brottman is currently on staff at St Luke's - Roosevelt Hospital Medical Center and an Clinical Instructor at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
